Jul 17, 2013 NEW PATTERN: Ripple Effect Fingerless Gloves Woo-Hoo! I'm so happy to release my newest pattern, Ripple Effect Fingerless Gloves! This pattern is very special as it was designed in celebration of The Plucky Knitter's upcoming Plucktember. Plucktember is basically a month-long festival where we'll celebrate all things Plucky. There will be KAL's, contests, new patterns, sales and prizes! You are all very familiar with my absolute LOVE for Plucky so being contributing designer to Plucktember was a no-brainer! Being that I'm constantly inspired by Plucky yarns this new design came naturally. Designing my Ripple Effect Fingerless Gloves was a lot of fun. I really like the centered cable with it's echoing lines that brings to mind ripples in water. Knit short or long, this quick and cozy design is knit in Sarah's gorgeous, Plucky Traveler Aran; and with it's 65% Merino, 20% Silk, 15% Yak base this yarn is so soft and just wait until you block it, it gets even softer!
