  • First Sweater

I did it! I finished O's first sweater in time for his one year photoshoot. I couldn't be happier with the results of this knit. This is the 2nd time I made the Flax sweater. I wasn't sure if I'd finish in time but Baby Z's blanket is done! Phew! I've knit special blankets for all of my babies before their arrival and I would have felt awful if baby #3 arrived without his first knitted blanket finished. Thankfully it's completed and it looks just beautiful in Blue Sky Alpacas' Worsted Cotton in the Mediterranean colorway.  I can't wait to meet my sweet lil boy and to wrap him up in his new blanket. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *...

  • Sample Knits & A Growing Belly

I had a few sample knits made up and I've been meaning to share them with you. These particular sample knits were made up to show alternative yarns that can be used with my  Chevron Stripe and Gradient pattern. The Chevron Stripe Infinity below is shown in The Plucky Knitter's, Plucky Feet. Colors are Oatmeal, Princess Phone, Icey Audrey and Sammy Sammerson. Don’t the colors look awesome together? I'm in LOVE with it! For this version of my Gradient Cowl (below), the sample knit was worked up in Blue Sky Alpaca's, Melange. Knit in colors Licorice and Dijon. This 100%...
