  • Plucky Kit Exclusive: Saugerties Shrug

I have a Plucky Knitter kit exclusive pattern coming out this Sunday, December 20th 2015… Introducing my Saugerties Shrug!

I'm beyond excited for this pattern. It's been a vision of mine for awhile now and to see it come to life and be such a wonderful knit to make and ware is a true joy.

I just love the bold, geometric motif that adorns the edge of his oversized and oh-so-cozy shrug.

And knit in Plucky Knitter’s luscious Scholar, this worsted weight design is a pleasure to knit and wear!

And as a bonus to the Saugerties kits, I designed the Saugerties Hat to be made using the left over Plucky, Scholar from the shrug. What a cute lil set this makes!

details on the kit sale is as follows…

Hi, I purchased yiur design for the shrug and hat from Plucky Knitter without realizing the color work was charted and I have never knitted a color work design but it did say it was suited to a beginner. My question is how to you carry the yarn along to the next stitch to change color and is every colored stitch a knit stitch?

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Thank you,

      Peggy

      Hi Jill,

I’m sitting by my tablet, eagerly waiting for 8 o’clock to come around. I love your shrug design in the colours of the original, but am still excited to see the other combinations to be offered.
I am only 5 ft. tall and weigh 93 lbs. Should I shorten the shrug by measuring my ‘wing span’?

I just discovered the Plucky Knitter this weekend! Do you anticipate a ‘bidding war’ and a quick sellout?

Hope your offers are a huge success for both you and The Plucky Knitter family.

      Good luck,
      Terry David
