  • NEW PATTERN: Double Bubble

I'm excited to release a new pattern. Introducing Double Bubble! This design is knit with Shibui Cima held double, except for when knitting the bobbles. This technique allows the colorful bobbles to pop on a tonal background.  This is my first time knitting with Shibui and I just loved the yarn and the fabric it made. I will for sure be knitting with Shibui again and SOON! All this texture and color makes Double Bubble is a fun and funky accessory to knit and wear! I'm so happy to say Double Bubble is available today! To buy a hard copy...

  • WINNER: Green Gables Knits

Thank you all that left a comment for my Green Gables Knits giveaway. I used the random number generator this morning to pick a winner. The winner is…   Heidi says... "What a beautiful hat! I like all of the patterns shown, but especially this hat, Marilla’s apron, and Rachel’s table runner. They look like they just may be just challenging enough for this beginner. :-)"   Congrats, Heidi! Please send me an email to knitterella@knitterella.com so I can get your address and get a signed copy of Green Gables Knits out to you asap :)

  • GIVEAWAY: Green Gables Knits

Although it's been a long time since the blog post of me starting my Diana's Hat, it really didn't take long to knit at all. This quick knit, slouchy hat was a fun and relaxing knit. The brim had just enough detail to keep my needles interested and yet I didn't find I needed to keep reading the directions on what to do next. This easy to wear hat will soon be giving to a friend for her birthday. I think she'll love it! This is just one of the beautiful patterns found in Green Gables Knits. Fellow knit wear...

  • Got Baby Socks?

Got any baby knit sock patterns that stay on that is… Threw the years, and my 3 boys, I have had my share of cute knitted baby socks and booties that were both made by me and that were given as gifts.  I love knitted socks and booties for my babies but the problem is this… They start out cute and looking like so… but it doesn't take long until the socks are falling off… and I've got cool little baby feet to cover up again. I have yet to find a knitting pattern that produces a sock or bootie...

  • WIP: Diana's Hat

Just like that the month of January is nearly over and I have yet to do a second blog post for 2014. So is the life of a WAHM of 2 businesses and 3 boys under 4 ;) Today, however, I am making a point to blog and not let January go by completely without at least one more post. I hope there are more posts in not so distant future too because so far 2014 is already shaping up to be a great year for Knitterella. Can't wait to share with you some new patterns, products and exciting news!...
