    What might appear tedious and complicated is actually an intuitive design. Panels of quills and crosses adorn this infinity scarf through meditative two-color knitting. Breaks of stockinette allow your mind to disengage and appreciate the colorwork as you knit. Knit in the round and grafted together, everyone will have their eyes on this stunning statement piece!

    FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
    Approx 62" / 158 cm long/circumference x 8" / 20.5 cm wide

     

    YARN:
    • Plucky Knitter Yakkity DK (100% yak; 325 yd / 297 m per 100 g); in color Sea Salt (MC); 3 skeins

    • Plucky Knitter Beauregard DK (60% yak, 40% cashmere; 300 yd / 274 m per 100 g); in color Sockeye (CC); 1 skein

    Or… DK Weight yarn in the following amounts:
    • MC: Approx 850 yds / 777 m
    • CC: Approx 215 yds / 196 m

     

    GAUGE:
    24 sts and 28 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in st st colorwork, blocked

     

    NEEDLES:
    Needle listed is suggested. Always take time to swatch.
    • Size US 6 (4.0 mm) 16"circular needle—or size necessary to obtain gauge

     

    TOOLS:
    • Waste yarn
    • Stitch marker
    • Extra set of needles the same size gauge needle for grafting
    • Tapestry needle

     

    NOTES:
    • Worked in the round, this infinity scarf uses a provisional cast on and Kitchener stitch grafting. You are essentially knitting a tube and then closing it up when you finish.
